Yes! VelionCraft is completely free. You can browse, download, and install all mods without paying anything. We offer optional VIP memberships with extra perks like priority downloads and exclusive badges, but the core experience is 100% free.
The easiest way is to use our VelionCraft Launcher — it handles everything automatically. Alternatively, you can download mod files manually and place them in your Minecraft mods folder. Make sure you have the correct mod loader (Forge, Fabric, or NeoForge) installed for your Minecraft version.
Absolutely. Every mod uploaded to VelionCraft goes through our automated virus scanning system and manual review process. We use multiple antivirus engines to ensure all files are clean. If a mod is flagged, it's immediately removed from the platform.
We support all major Minecraft versions from 1.12.2 to the latest 1.21.4. Each mod listing clearly shows which versions it's compatible with. You can also filter mods by version using the search bar to find exactly what works for your setup.
